ANGKOR WAT ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK • CAMBODIA

ANGKOR WAT ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK • CAMBODIA

Siem Reap is one of the most visited places in Cambodia due to an incredible site, the Angkor Wat Archaeological Park. This includes Angkor Thom, the capital of the former and very powerful Kingdom of Siam. You will be surprised to see how well preserved are the remains, even the oldest ones. Among the site you can discover, make sure to visit the ancient royal palace Angkor Wat (which is used on the national flag), Ta Prohm (featured in Tomb Raider movies), Roluos temples such as Lolei, Preah Koh and Bakong, Banteay Srei and its fine Khmer art carvings in pink sandstones and make sure to include a hike to Phnom Kulen waterfall and the thousand linga.

On the fourth day, you can have a great experience boating on Tonle Sap lake, just few miles away from Siem Reap. You’ll see floating houses and get the chance to mingle with friendly locals.
